Coastal Barge & Mooring, LLC offers complete mooring services including: • Sales of new moorings – We provide competitive mooring prices. We might be higher than some providers, however we supply TOP QUALITY products and we DELIVER IN REASONABLE time frames. • Setting new moorings – We use any of our three workboats to set new moorings. We provide accurate GPS coordinates for every mooring. • Moving existing moorings - Typically mushroom anchors up to 800 lbs, and blocks up to 4000 lbs if they are not too settled in the mud. • Repairing existing moorings - Typically involves replacing chain, lines, shackles, swivels, buoys and pennants. We do not weld new eyes on old mushroom anchors. |

•Underwater Photo-Documentation – "Have you seen your mooring lately?" "Would you like a visual of the damage sustained to your keel before paying for a costly haulout?" •Locate – We can locate downed moorings if we are provided with reasonable location markers or GPS coordinates. •Annual Care/ Winterization – As your mooring provider we will remove all top gear (buoy, swivel, shackles & pennant) in the Fall and put it back out in the spring. We mark them with winter toggles or wooden spars. This process drops your chain into the mud and reduces wear and tear on your mooring. We also document your GPS location each season to keep a paper file as well as a computer file. |

• Install / Sell Moorings for Float Systems • Inspections - Many towns require mooring inspections every two to three years. If you don’t remember when your last inspection was, its likely time! Although we do our best to let our customers know when they need an inspection, it is ultimately the owner’s responsibility to notify their mooring provider when they need an inspection. If you live in a town where it is required you will be more likely to have accurate records. Those who do not live in these areas should keep the records we provide either on an invoice or on a separate report. |
